County Clerk Rewards Good Samaritans

The County Clerks office awarded the first "Good Samaritan" Award at the old court House in Salem City on April 8th, 2009, the recipients were: Debbie Ashcraft, Karen McKay Gillespie, George "Buck" Rosenberger,
They were each awarded a certificate, cash prize and a candle holder, which represents how they were a light in someone’s life.
 
Debbie Ashcraft, Karen Mckay Gillespie, also pictured is Robert Bender who was one of the judges. Not pictured George "Buck" Rosenberger who was also a recipient.
